Prithviraj, the artistic director of Steps, trained under Ms. Heather McNeill in jazz ballet, Ms. Ann tonner in classical ballet, and Mr. Prassanna in modern dance is also equipped with injury prevention courses from various masters in the field. He has been part of many short term workshops in India especially with ATTAKALARI, Bangalore. He has participated in International Dance Choreo Laboratory in the year of 2003. He did his graduation course in dance with Broadway Dance Centre, New York city, U.S.A. Apart from his graduation he attended intermediate and advanced level classes with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, Steps on Broadway, Pineapple Dance Studio, London and attended salsa classes with Mr. Eddie Torres, the “King of salsa” in New York.

Prithviraj has choreographed and performed many stage shows and commercial performances. His commercial performance including the launch of Mercedes Benz, Phillips, and Ford Icon, also various events of multi-national companies in Chennai and Hyderabad. He was part of many repertoire modern dance performances including Paul Taylor works in Chennai and Hyderabad.

He performed at LINCON theatre in New York after his graduation from Broadway Dance Centre. His passion for dance has taken him to various parts of the world, to update his skills he travels aboard twice in a year.
